Documentation
Everything you need to build searchable lists and plug them into your app.
What is XEYE?
XEYE turns your lists of data into a smart search engine. You create a list, add elements and train it — from then on you can query it with semantic and fuzzy search from this console or from your own applications using an API key.
Search is hybrid: it combines fuzzy text matching (tolerant of typos and partial words) with semantic matching (it understands meaning, so "wireless headphones" also finds "Bluetooth earbuds").
Key concepts
List
A collection of elements you search over (products, articles, FAQs…). Each list is trained and queried on its own.
Element
One searchable entry: a text, optional context and an optional payload returned with every match.
Training
The process that computes the embeddings powering semantic search. You launch it when you decide.
API key
The credential your integrations use to query your public lists from outside the console.
Two ways to use XEYE
The console
This web app: manage lists, elements, trainings and keys, and test searches against any of your lists.
The search API
A single HTTP endpoint your applications call with an API key. It serves your public lists only.
